The southernmost island is known for its rugged granite boulders that tumble from the beaches down to the ocean floor and create dramatic ledges, caves, and archways that harbor soft corals and large pelagic fish such as leopard sharks and giant stingrays. Just off the northern coast are the Coral Gardens, covered with massive porites, branching and table acroporas, and gorgonian sea fans.
